About the 'Geek for a Week' Project...

      Paul Cobb of Solent Solutions has supported (and photographed!) the carnival for the past 6 years, This year it was decided that additional funds could be raised by offering some free time to local business and individuals in the area. IT Support is vital to nearly all business and can sometimes be costly, even the small business owner can suffer with problems that can be easily resolved with the right knowhow.
  
  So start bidding or grab some raffle tickets today and you could have you're very own geek on-call to you anytime for a total of 16 hours, this time can be spent on-site, on the telephone or via remote desktop support and doe's not have to be used all at once. • About the Rowner Access Point
      The Rowner Access Point offers a host of services for the local community, With an IT suite, Job/Career advice, CAB and Health Trainers. Pop in for a coffee and any of our staff or volunteers will be glad to give you a tour.

• About the Rowner Carnival
      The Rowner Carnival is now in it's 7th year, Bringing the community together for this event is no easy task - however every year staff from the Rowner Access Point, Nimrod Community Centre and dozens of volunteers from the local community all pitch in to make the carnival what it is today. This years theme is Disney and it is sure to be a spectacular event.

      Nimrod community centre is based in the centre of the Rowner Estate and offers facilities such as room hire, training, child care and a host of local clubs and organisations. The Rowner Access Point is also located within the newly built extensions, as are PHA / Wessex Group.
